A new way to do hair buns

I've always been a fan of (messy) hair buns on the top of the head.

However, these days I'm much more attracted to elegant chignons, especially when done at the nape of the head.

Today I ran into this super easy hair tutorial over at A Cup of Jo, how to do three twisted buns.

I can't wait to try this myself! Will you?

P.S. I think red lips go so well with this look! Très chic, n'est-ce pas?

It's still raining, but not on me

Some kind of a colorful attire for when it's raining cats and dogs. 

I've discovered that wearing an unbuttoned shirt over a dress can give it a more casual feel. 

In the photos above I'm wearing one over this dress, which was a bit of a challenge

since it gets a bit puffy at the waist. So I added a belt in the mix. 

However, here is the same shirt worn over a fancier dress and underneath a vintage cape. 

Can't get enough of this combination!
