As anticipated by other collections too, Chanel makes it clear that for next season, everyone's ideal in life fashion will be the mermaid. Sounds a bit off-track, but isn't this just wonderful. My favorite accessories were the pearls: worn in the hair, at the waist, or as iconic necklaces, if one can say even that about a necklace... And we have still to talk about the purses! But I'll just end my ramble here and leave you with the visuals.

I hope you don't mind the photo overload but this is one of the collections I simply couldn't wait to see. Well, this and Stella's. And we're still waiting to see Alexander McQueen! Ok, I'm leaving these for another time.
