As always with Karl, the surprise factor never fails. The fall collection he sent down the runway has a rather sombre concept, but which fits very well into a dark, autumn decor. I have been reading here and there about this new concept (not daring to call it a trend) in fashion, drawing inspiration from the end of the world. Some of the main lines are of course dark hues, but also protective garments, distressed pieces and worn in, though boots. This Chanel collection might just be my favorite until now. It reads young spirit, casual, fresh, ready for a new challenge whatever that could be.
