Hello darlings!
Here is a curious subject to talk about this week on Friday Bloggers: How often do you schedule your posts?
Let's face it: scheduling posts is tempting, useful and easy. It is useful especially for those of us who want to be right on time with a post even when we are not in front of a computer (and I promise, this post is not scheduled, haha).
You must have experienced situations when you queued up as many posts as you could and then took a short holiday, right? This attitude shows how much bloggers appreciate their readers: it is very sweet to schedule posts if you have the energy to prepare them first. If you are like me and have zero energy to plan anything ahead, just announce your readers. They will appreciate the fact that you are making time for yourself too. It makes the first post after your vacation be even more anticipated than usual!
As for me, I have done both through the years: sometimes I schedule some short posts, sometimes I just let everyone know I am going away for a while, only to come back with more energy, positivity and love!
So, tell us:

I don't schedule my pots at all. I just have days where I have something to voice out or something happens that day and I think 'I gotta tell my Blogger friends about this!' :)

I never schedule my posts. Sometimes, when I have maaany things to post about, I might prepare the posts and not publish them all at the same time, but come back later and publish .. x
ReplyDeleteI think about blogging pretty much everyday. I'm thinking when am I going to have time to sit down and do it? I'm thinking about material. I'm thinking about the layout of my blog. But with me having an infant to take care of and designing accessories to sell it gets pretty hectic. A few weeks ago I promised myself I'd only leave 3 days between my posts and I've been doing pretty good keeping my word!

I only schedule them when it's necessary. Like Ayanna, I've got a little one at home so it can be difficult to blog while he's around. If I'm going out of town I'll schedule a couple, and have a couple guest bloggers...
ReplyDeleteI schedule as needed - sometimes I find tons of inspirational things that I want to post but don't want to bombard my readers. I love that feature - should've used it this weekend. Was soooo busy I didn't have a chance to post!

I usually tend to post twice a week and sometimes I might even have posts prepared but I don't schedule them, I like to post when I feel the timing is relevant within the blogs flow of posts. I've been absent for the last month or so and I could have left a slew of posts scheduled but I chose not to
ReplyDeleteI have only scheduled a post once before. I am way too dis-organized to always schedule. I like doing spur of the moment posts. :)SArahD
ReplyDeleteI haven't done it yet, but I have thought about it. I prefer to blog on the fly when an idea or photo pops into my head.
ReplyDeleteHeya, I am back on the blogger`s pinwall and want to share my way of blogging with you: To keep it briefly: as I have not installed the plug-in for automatic scheduling, I write my blogpost "live"
