Sunday collages: the bad and the good

...click on each one or read below...

Bad or good don't exactly stand for what they mean in this case. They are more like... the darker moodboard and the lighter one. I love them both because I tried to fill them up with images I like. About the images, they are from various magazines, some tumblr photos, some fashion spot items, fashion gone rogue images as well. They are all crammed in my adore folder. Yes, I have an adore folder in my computer... some months back it was named holla. Uhuh.

If you clik on the collages, they will link you up to a full-size version, fit to be your new desktop wallpaper! The wallpaper version is a little bit different, without the writing on the left. Hope you like them. They also can be found by clicking on Goodies on the homepage.

  1. Love those collages! I've also lately been saving some images to some folder in my computer.. But, more than that, I like doing what I just yesterday started doing. I had bought a notebook, and I went through some old magazines I have and cut beautiful pictures, or pictures or stunning clothes or make up or anything else inspiring, and I'm going to glue them to that notebook. I'm going to make it my "inspiration book". When it's full, I have to buy a new one. :D I like it more than pictures in my computer, because when I'm using computer, I rarely have time to just go through the pictures I've saved and also there's just too many pictures, I keep finding more and more all the time.. It's so different to read a real notebook where's real pictures. Jsut like I'd prefer real letters instead of email or facebook messages.. I think I'm quite old-fashioned, lol :D x

  2. well, what i didn't say in the post above was that i do like to play with a real cork board, exactly like the one in the collages. i use it to write inspiring quotes, or just pin photos from magazines, just like you do. the major problem is that i simply can't cut new magazines, the ones which usually have the best visuals inside. i always end up cutting apart old mags and after that i feel unsatisfied, you know? like i'm playing around with old news. it sounds silly, maybe :))

plus, i simply can't let a day go by without doodling something or making collages like these ones. it's so relaxing!

p.s. i love real letters, too! it's such a shame no one writes them anymore. all we receive in the mail are bills :))

    xx

  3. I have the same problem as you.. I always feel so bad when I have to cut newe magazine. :'D That's why I like to buy those magazines from flea markets, they're not the newest ones but they're cheap, like the last magazines I bought cost only 50cnt each. I've just recently started cutting the inspiring pictures from the magazines, before that I used to save all magazines I had.. But there was beginning to be so much of them, I wanted to get rid of them because I don't have so much space for them in my room. :D

Indeed, it's a shame that no one writes real letters anymore. I know it's much faster and easier to write a message on facebook, or via email.. Even though the real letters are much slower, I really would love to receive real letters instead of emails/FB messages. Maybe I should just send a message to all my internet friends and let them know that I'm deleting my accounts, if they want to talk to me, they should send me a letter XD hahah.
It would be sooo nice to receive something else than bills in the mail. xx
