Sometimes I find it downright refreshing to look back on editorials from two or three years ago. Especially loving those which have a certain feeling to them: I think the greatest quality of a photograph is not suggesting that it belongs to a certain period of time. It will look just as good when it gets published... and years after that too.

This editorial you will see below was shot by Pierre Bailly in 2007 for the September issue of i-D Magazine. Styling: Cathy Kasterine; Model: Lindsay Ellingson. I love Bailly's style. Here you can see more of his work.
As this is an image heavy post, do make sure you enjoy the rest of the photos, available after the jump! ♥

This is a very nice shoot. I agree, I love going through magazines from years back and remembering why I decided to keep them!

I would have thought that this was recent rather than from 2007, just goes to show style doesn't date.

Lovely shoot...
They really look more realistic compared to more recent photos you can find nowadays. The pieces they used for the model aren't even the more fashionable sort of clothing, instead something you can easily wear for everyday. And yet, the photographer and stylist still made it look incredible.
Awesome post! :)
