Zara, the ever so accessible brand and the eternal competitor of Mango has quite some imaginative ideas going on for the SS2010 young collection. In times when the 90s are still somehow pushed in the obscure memory lane, Zara dares to take them out to light again.

Hello campaign done exclusively in black&white! You look stunning! Really, I wish more mainstream companies would take the plunge and present something other than overly done commercial shots. It is like a breath of fresh air.

Now, my only curiosity remains whether the girl's lipstick is really black or the most amazing hue of dark red. I hope the latter! Other than that, I have been staring at these images and still have absolutely no clue why they reminds me of Minnie Mouse. Any ideas? No big ears in sight, no out of this world garments, but there's something going on I can't exactly put my finger on. Not right now at least.
