Dreams are Bursting at the Seams

As those who can only catch tiny glimpses on news agencies when new collections are out on stage on NYFW, I'd like to share a bit of what has received less attention than deserved.
This is a bunch of my favorite looks that have great wearability potential and would look good in any given circumstances. I'm feeling that little bit of transitional items blending in as well, so I would consider this perfect to wear just when Winter draws back and Spring subtly take the scene instead. Just look at those adorable brown booties: with draped dresses, they look like a dream come true. All the nude hues and flowy materials make my stream of thoughts yell "urban princess". So let it be:

all photos: style.com, entire collection here. collage by me.

Gary Graham successfully brings Victorian details back into daily life. With much ease, I would add. Love how easy all these seem to make, even though the high amount of details is overwhelming. More to appreciate, right?

Sweet treats,
Daiane

  1. I have no idea who Gary Graham is, but I know when I was looking through the S/S 10 collections on style.com, I definitely thought he would be overlooked because his clothes seem so understated and unflashy and much more pretty than sexy (compared to, say, Alexander Wang, whose collection I thought was brilliant, for the record), which I am glad to see after what seems like a really long period of fashion being overtly sexy. I don't know. I also liked the muted colors a lot.
