The Sign

It seems the never-ending roads of fashion take even gestures to a completely new level. I was reading this specific article on Swide. Besides noticing how amazingly high-spirited it is written...shhh...stealing the how-to's * cough. Plus, it's fun reading not so recent articles when you get a bit of stolen time to do it. Again... shhh
So! Reading through it, I've found out the interpretation it is given to this specific sign in a fashion(able) environment:

"the comunication should be brief and without exclamation marks"

Explanation of how did she understand an entire sentence from just that? Well, my dear readers this is where my 6 internships, 3 stints in fashion magazine cupboards, working the world's guest lists and being shouted a lot gets you. There you have it. I'm not that sure myself whether I'd really, really actually mind some experience like that and some mind-reading abilities to come with it. But I suppose once you wrangled your way to all those positions, mind-reading is the ultimate thing to poses. Smarter than your average bear.

Now, in the real world, the meaning is not that far behind. Interpretations ranging from short, little, not that much... to keep quiet, not even a peep

With fashion changing faster than a look-of-the-day I'm sure we're yet to see how many fashion signs really can be counted out there...

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. “Which road do I take?” she asked. “Where do you want to go?” was his response. “I don’t know,” Alice answered. “Then,” said the cat, “it doesn’t matter.

Sweet treats,
Daiane
