In Which The GPS Goes Out Of Order

I'm currently enyoing the pre-holiday atmosphere that slowly takes over the city. Sparkling lights around town, huge Christmas trees everywhere your head turns and carols in the air. Speaking about carols, can't wait to go at one of those seasonal concerts. They organised so many each year! Yum. I really hope I'll get to go at least at one of them.
As I'm typing these words, my feet are dancing all by themselves under the desk on the rhythm of this song. I know I'm saying this everytime, but Day & Age, the third studio album from The Killers is my current favourite. And as always, I deeply recommend listening to it in the exact order of the tracklist. They are placed the way they are for a reason, you know. Alternating feelings and sensations. Spaceman, Human and A Dustland Fairytale are too rad for words. Definitely on the repeat.

Saw Cinderella in a party dress,
She was looking for a nightgown.
I saw the devil wrapping up his hands,
He's getting ready for the showdown.
I saw the ending where they turned the page,
I threw my money and I ran away.

Now Cinderella don't you go to sleep,
It's such a bitter form of refuge.
Why don't you know the kingdom's under siege
And everyone needs you.
Is there still magic in the midnight sun,
Or did you leave it back in '61?
In the cadence of a young man's eyes.
Out where the dreams all hide.

The photo above is perfect in describing the mood. A little bit Carrie-esque with a little bit of casualty. And of course, I'll try to find a huge flower like that to wear as a headpiece. This one may turn out to be too small for my purpose. Haha. No kidding, though. Where to now?
