Long Ago, Miss Forgotten

So there goes another weekend. The craziness will start today. But looking back these past days, everything was soo beautiful. Talking about it while the memories are still fresh in my mind. Thinking backwards. Let's see, yesterday evening I got a new pair of jeans. Got home and realised I didn't like them all that much, so I took them back and exchanged them for another pair. The salespersons were really nice. Of course, I had to try on the entire fleet of jeans in the shop. Typically. But it was a happy ending. Then I came back home and watched Juno. It was pretty nice. Makes one wonder about things. And, well, I liked Ellen Page before, but with this film, she did a marvelous job.
Other main attractions of the weekend: huge bowls of grapes and plums. Books. Magazines. Atmosphere on repeat. Lush. Tea. Writing. Oh, and since I got to this, I also got the most amazing pen I ever had. It's grey and small and it is so easy to write with it. Bliss.

Good morning
Nice to see you
How you've been
The beginning of another lovely day
Get up put your feet on the ground
Wake up to an ice cold shower
The coffee's hot but the cream is sour
So get up
Top of the morning to you
Good morning to you
Can I walk you to the train
Would you like to get a bagel on the way
Get on and we go downtown
Get off and go in the tower
The boss is old but he has the power
So we're up
Top of the morning to you
Good morning to you
It's another day in the world in which we live
I've got to find a way
To get past what I can't forgive
And no matter what
We've got to try to move along
So sing a song
You can't go wrong

Good morning
Nice to see you
How you been
The beginning of another lovely day
Good morning...

(Lenny Kravitz - Good morning)

Sweet treats,
Daiane
