Things I Love... Thursday

Surrouding myself with bright colors.

Technology. Having to reconfigure all the programs on my computer. I have lost all photos & stuff, but it is a great feeling to start new, fresh, all over again.

Colder weather (well, a bit at least).

Audiobooks. It's like going back in time when stories were being read for me before I went to went. It kind of reminds me of that idilic world. Also, it's quite practical. See, I can do more things at the same time: go through a book, imagining the scenery, the characters and drawing at the same time. It's very relaxing.

Realising I can do everything I want, if I wish hard enough.

Bright pink & square plates.

Singalong with the speakers turned to maximum.

Drawing. For obvious reasons. If we don't consider everthing I've already mentioned above, I'm rediscovering drawing. It's been some time since I drew something just for the fun of it. Playing silly with colored pencils on a blank sheet of paper.

Surprises.

Slouchy cardigans from the men's section. Well, it fits quite well I must say. It has black and white stripes. And it's cozy. Probably will wear when weather cools down a bit more.

The future.

Trees with golden leaves. I see one everyday from the kitchen window. At this time of the year, a great part of the leaves are already on the ground, but they surprisingly seem to be as many on the tree as they were in full summer! Oh, and all the other trees around still have green leaves for one reason or another...

Humongous bows, ruffles and dust pink.

September issues of all fashion mags. It's a feast, darlings! They all compete in presenting the latest trends like it's the end of the world. It's the same each year come fall. They seem to explode with dozen of pages of articles and photoshoots. I'm not complaining, but it sure is something that amuses me.

The smell of autumn in the air.

Priceless silver. I've been wearing it all week. And I'm getting used to the feeling. I generally don't wear necklaces all that much, only if I feel they compliment an outfit well. And most of them are long & massive. It may seem like a surprise that this one is still sticking to me, haha.

Print clash. I'm thinking plaid and florals, stripes and dots, all in one, with a bit of lace thrown in!

Now, I would love to know, what do you like?

Sweet treats,
Daiane
