Today I was flicking through some older French Elle magazines. One of them had an engaging article on eyewear. I couldn't decide right away whether I like the looks or not. I had a post not farther than last month regarding glasses. Go see it.
But this time I found myself at a loss. Did I think they were ugly? Or did I think they look right and powerful?
I think you have to have an innate atittude to rock these properly. All the traits are so highlighted at the same time. As far as I know a more subtle approach is prefered. For example, if you apply more product to underline the expression of your eyes, you should choose a sheer gloss or nude lipstick. Just like in the last photo.
This is why at first I was a little bit puzzled by the looks. They are laying at the border of tackiness. Especially those strong eyebrows led me to believe so. But in the end I think the model manages to make them look somehow appealing. What do you say?
Sweet treats,
Daiane
nah, those were just magazine editorials!!!
ReplyDeletein real life though, face shape is definitely important. i look good in some glasses but totally stupid in others. i would love to be able to wear round glasses... like johnny depp. but obviously my face is too round for that! haha!
:)) yes, round glasses are quite difficult to style...still i like them.
