Vintage fashion photography

Fashion photographer Henry Clarke worked for Harper's Bazaar and all three Vogues (from 1951): French, British and American. In the 1960s, Vogue editor Diana Vreeland sent him to Syria, Iran, India and Mexico to create exotic fashion layouts.

Some of my favourites:

Tweed coat dress and hat, both by Dior, 1955

White Chignon Cap by Givenchy, 1954

Givenchy Short-Sleeved Dress, 1955

Bathing suits, 1955

Chunky Knits, July 1965

Sweet treats,
Daiane
