Rebranding

I have been thinking about this for a while now, and I can certify it works! Let me know what you think, or try it yourself!

My brand: myself
First of all, let's define terms. Branding and rebranding generally refers to products. So, how can this apply to you? Well, first try considering yourself a brand. And like all the other brands out there, yours too needs promotion and attendance. You are your most valuable possesion. Just think about how many creative thoughts come to your mind each and every day! Maybe you'd say I'm wrong, but many times we don't realise how imaginative we can be even without knowing it. So, have faith in yourself and let's see just how you can get yourself out there!

First step: identify weak points
The best way to do this is by asking other people. Be constant in requesting feedback. Try asking people who know you best what are your greates abilities and strenghts, but also where you should improve your behavior. Who knows, maybe you consider yourself just a realistic person, while others see you as a negativist.
Also, it's important to choose a specific area in your life to improve: economical, social, personal etc. Try not choosing too many at a time, so you can focus better on each one.

Two: identify strenghts
Never say "I don't have any!" You sure do, but you don't want to see them. So stop being negative and reconsider your best assets. Learn how to reward yourself for the improvements you make. And this'll lead to having a much better opinion about yourself. How does this help? Well, it'll be seen in the way you walk on the street, how you approach people, how you talk to them. Before you realise it, you'll have a better self!

Three: improve
Now that you know what you need to improve on, go right ahead! Changes should be given by the new way of acting and thinking rather then just bragging about the change. What I'm trying to say is don't go ahead and say "Now I'm seeing the bright/positive side of the problem!", but try giving positive feedback.
Smile as much as you can. This way you improve your visibility. Seriously, did you know that your smile can be seen from 10-12 meters from where you stand? A nice smile on your face will give others the impression your are an open-minded person. They will be encouraged to approach you more easily than they would if you had just a big grin on your face.

Opinions and suggestions are welcomed!

Sweet treats,
Daiane
